Pasta and a stir in sauce plus some mince or meat balls is nice and easy. Our kids will eat a few variations on that theme over a week.

Do your kids like spaghetti pasta with hotdog sausages chopped up, push the dried spaghetti through the sausages, kids like to help! Boil then drain and add a pasta sauce! Looks fun for the kids and its quick and easy and tasty too!

We LOVE this meal at home. It would be easy to do when camping.

depends a bit on what you mean by 'easy'. i like cooking, find it one of the most enjoyable aspects of camping, especially if have campfire/bbq, so we tend to make from scratch and get kids involved where can

our staple dinners, cookable on stoves or fire, include:
- Moroccan veg stew (carrots, squash, courgettes, chickpeas, sultanas, toms, spices) with cous-cous, can add lamb mince kebabs etc
- Stroganoff (beef/pork, onions, mushrooms, sour cream, mustard) with b-i-b rice
- Tomato pasta sauce (onion, toms, sometimes add chorizo /sausage /meatballs etc)
- Chilli (onions, peppers, mince, kidney beans, toms) - with rice or in wraps. Once the onions and peppers are fried for the chilli we save half to make a cous-cous and veg salad next day
- Curry (veg and meat and curry paste), with b-i-b rice or just breads

tend to keep things simple rest of time:
breakfasts - cereal, bars, brioche, occasional bbq fry-up
lunch - sangers, hotdogs, couscous salads, soups

of course, if bbq/campfire available and sun out, we do lots of marinated chops, burgers, sausages, lamb/veg kebabs with couscous/potato salad type meals

We always pack a couple of the Pataks jars of Madras curry paste, you just add some chopped fried onion and tinned chopped tomato, extra garlic and meat of your choice, chicken in our case.

Job done.

Pataks do the paste in small jars 165gm which will do a meal for 4 adults.

Gnocchi, slight change from pasta and very quick to cook (saves on fuel)
