I'm sure you're referring to an electric oil-filled radiator, but to avoid any misunderstanding by perhaps an inexperienced or unaware reader of this thread I'll link to the UKCS advice - "Carbon Monoxide Staying Safe Advice"
opp yes sorry i meant oil filled radiator they take a few mins to heat up but seem more better for radiated heat..

Agree with most except I prefer to not have too many layers on inside the sleeping bag. When you get up in the morning you need to be able to put lots back on or you will feel cold. Just make sure the sleeping bag is warm. We had an inner {normal) sleeping bag then had an arctic outer so basically a sleeping bag in a sleeping bag.
Put your clothes in the sleeping bag with you then they will be warm in the morning.
Hi I've been living with my family in a 6mt bell tent with stove for the last 4 months.. Hope to see some snow action this weekend! Top tips are get electric hook up for heater and light.. Hot water bottle and thick mattress, we let our stove go out overnight but are still cosy in bed when it's been -4 outside. Don't hide yiur head under the covers though or you get a very damp cover that will freeze! Oh and a lidded wee bucket.. You don't want to be nipping out in the night... Have fun!

Whether you have gas cooker outside, or leccy inside, fill your kettle before bedtime... and before the water freezes! Even with a kettle full of ice, you can still have your morning cuppa!
Shower at dusk/after tea, rather than morning's... preferably in a heated shower block!... and then put your sleeping gear on under the other layers... at bed time, follow the steps described by Scampi, above.
Don't be afraid/embarrassed to spend an extortionate amount of money on a private number plate, to let everyone know just how 'ard you are...
Squeal like 3 year old's on Xmas morning, when you open your tent door to this, for the very first time...
It's, very, very, satisfying!!
I CANT WAIT TO SQUEAL!! I've got about a week and a half left to get some snow on my canvas!
Hot water bottle! Of course And choose your pitch cleverly to keep out the wind, ask the owners where the wind generally blows from and then find some shelter, your tent will be warmer and also your sleep better because your tent wont sound like its going to take off! I heard that wearing clothes in a sleeping bag stops it working properly so maybe just invest in a good bag to begin with so you wont need to Have fun
I've/ we've camped in well below freeeeeezing temps, frost on tent ground etc... Never had a cold nights sleep yet, as previously said, layers are paramount and thick socks to keep the leon trotskis warm at night (feet) Decent sleeping bags, I have recently treated myself to an Snugpack elite 5.. comfort to -20... get out there and enjoy what ever the weather
