Any advice to keep a toddlers hands warm while winter camping? Her body was absolutely fine but she kept sticking her hands out, tried putting her gloves on but she kept pulling them off, even tried putting my ski socks on they went with the gloves. My next option is an old and very heavy sheepskin jacket. I'm thinking of cutting it up to make a very warm blanket for the baby pram and using the sleeves for the toddlers hands, don't want to cut it up if it's going to end up the same way of the gloves/socks.
And yeh before you start I've already heard it all about my socks on her hands poor wee thing - They were Clean!!!!
Sounds like a job for the good old gaffer tape, glove/sock wont come off then! Comes in many fashionable colours these days as well.

Thanks NickH I've thought about tape for teens many times mainly around the mouth area, I'll keep it in mind for the toddler, not sure she'd be too impressed
I second the top a couple of sizes too large. I did that with trousers when DD was crawling. (We have concrete flooring and central heating is unheard of here). That being said, if you have a bit of heat on the go, I wouldn't worry about it. Here in WA, we never camp with the heater on and we don't have sealable tents - it's all SIG, mesh and then a light fly over and we camp where it can get very frosty. DD always toured her bed overnight. As long as her core is warm enough, she'll be right.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
