Hi everyone
I have a Sunncamp Kos 6, canvas frame tent. It's in great condition but after using last year, it was clear it needed re waterproofing.

I've been looking at various products (Fabsil, Nikwax, Storm, Thompsons Ultra Seal...) and it seems there are various (and quite dated) reviews on them all.

Before spending time and money doing this, I need to know which one is the best????!

Does anyone have any recent experience using these on a canvas tent, or any other water proofing products???

Thanks for your help!!

I tryed fabsil on my cotton Litchfield montana 6 last year and found it a little disappointing. I used a brush to give it a good going over but was disapointed by how much i had to re do again. In the end i used some blue diamond waterproof spray from go outdoors that worked far better but would love other peoples experience too as i need to do my other cotton tent this year.

It was suggested to me by Camperlnds when I need to do my trailer tent to mask off the windows and use fabsil in a garden sprayer to get good coverage of the canvas. I've not done it yet as not needed but that's what i'm planning on doing.

Did exactly this a few years ago when I had concerns over my TT's water repelling capabilities....Only difference was....I used hand held water sprayers....Worked fine....And never had any issues with water ingress for the few years I had the TT afterwards..
