Hi

We have a Montana 6 and as heading says, a mouse or done kind of animal had bitten through the SIG in two places! Happened when I was camping in Fort William.

What's the best way to repair? Just some tenacious tape over the areas?

Will I get the tape in Go Outdoors?

Just make sure you tape from both sides, so you don't end up with a sticky bit on one side.

Also, round off the corners of the tape to help prevent it peeling.

An alternative repair can be made with a patch and tenacious tape (depending how big the hole is). An old peg bag or pole bag is often made of the same stuff as the groundsheet. Always worth keeping for patches.

Thanks guys, Bob thanks for the tip re using old peg/pole bags. We have a couple of old tents ( just small crap ones) I could look out the bags from them. Infact if the tents are ready for the bin I could use the groundsheet.

No cheese, we had the awning up and our food is kept out there, but one of the rascals chewed through the netting on the cupboard that we have out there!

Never had a problem like that before, only once a squirrel got in but it was my fault as I had left some strawberries out and open in the awning.
