We returned from a wet camping trip 2 weeks ago but due to illness have only now got the tent and porch out to dry them (we would normally dry it as soon as we returned) Oh dear! I think we've ruined our new airgo nimbus 8. I haven't checked the tent yet (I'm dreading it) but the windows of the porch have large patches of opaque white on them. It looks awful. I had hoped it would clear as it dries but that's not happening. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

I had a similar experience earlier this year but it was due to laziness not illness, and we ended up leaving the tent for 2 months!

We gave it a good clean and aired it out for a few days and it is mostly ok now. The windows look a lot better now than they did when we first got it out, but they haven't fully cleared up.

I had this once and cleaned the windows with a mild solution of Fairy Liquid. It worked a treat and brought the windows up sparkling, but don't get it on the outside of the flysheet because there is a possibility detergent could remove the waterproofing.
