Might be a stupid question but can an awning carpet be used in a tent? We have a Skandika helsinki family tent but cant find a carpet specifically for this model but have found awning carpet that would fit. Thanks in advance for advice.
Awning carpet is often breathable and is not soft under foot like a tent carpet.
Picnic rugs work well as carpets as they can be taken outside to be shaken clean and can be machine washed.
Also, have a look at other manufacturers carpets such as Vango and Outwell that are the same size as your living area.
We have an easycamp driveaway awning carpet in our tent. It is rubber backed but flocked on the carpet side and non breathable.It is not as thick as others but more hard wearing. It was the only one that fitted.
Thank you very much for the info. Did think about picnic blankets but thought they may be a bit small and would need a few of them to cover the space.
Also can you still use a groundsheet under the carpet/blankets?
