Must say I'm very impressed with this tent - I bought it because I do quite a lot of camping in woods and it goes well with the Land Rover and the terrain.
Does look a bit incongruous in the middle of a modern French campsite surrounded by caravans and large family sized plastic tents though - it looks like I've lost my jungle :-)
For the first week I lived in glamping luxury, which I achieved by the simple expedience of bringing a second, plastic tent and putting teenage child, the hire fridge and all the other camping clutter in there.
However, the plastic tent got damaged and couldn't be used so when we moved to the second site, I had to put the 15 year old, and the fridge we hired there into the Soulpad.
Its the 4 meter tent, so not the biggest one but it accommodated us quite comftably, and there was plenty of room for all our stuff - what helped was that we have campbeds rather than airbeds and things can be stored under them.
The pitch we had were given was actually a caravan pitch - why they gave that to us, I've no idea, but had no shade and the temperature sored to 35degrees+ during the day. Despite that though, the tent seemed to remain quite cool and was quite pleasant to sleep in.
Glad you are having a good time. I have a 4m soul pad, I've only used a for a few days so far, but off for 2 weeks tomorrow with a teenager, so glad to hear there is still plenty of space.
