Following lots of advice on here and the de waard forum we went and bought ourselves a de Waard lepelaar! It came from a lovely Dutch family in the Netherlands - advertised on Marktplaats.
Just under £600 for a lovely tent which looks very new, only 14 weeks use on an older 2002 tent but very well looked after as there are no issues or signs of wear. It only cost £100 to have it shipped via Parcel2go and UPS - arrived in 2 days and we paid for the tent with HiFX which only charged a £9 fee versus big bank charges so very good!!
It has the side screens, and the storm rain porch which I have to say is great - not sure I could manage the vario.....
We have been camping in Cornwall for the last 5 days and despite us getting the guy rope order slightly wrong as it started peeing it down it went up very well!
To add a bit of luxury we bought some Exped Megamats 10 following the advice on the forums here and they are out of this world!!!! Thank you everyone who has written posts about de waard and sleeping mats. This has been the best help and advice ever!
De Waard tents are simply stunning and very well built, we are mega impressed and are very satisfied with our new tent!
That was all going so well... until that last line!!
Get pics from camera to computer.
Upload to an internet piccy hosting site type thing. Picasa/Photobucket/many others.
Once they are loaded onto your preferred hosting site, they are now stored on t' web, and therefore have their very own web-address (URL).
Open the pic on your hosting site.
Right click, and choose "Copy Image URL".
Come back to UKCS, and this thread in particular, and go into this reply box (Where I am now!).
Click on the icon at the top of this reply box, second from the right, just left of the smiley face icon... looks like a stamp with a mountain and the sun on it.
Go into the pop up, right click on the highlighted blue bit, and choose "Paste". Then click the "OK" box.
The web adress (URL) of your chosen pic will now be seen in the reply box... words only, not the actual pic.
Click on the "Preview Post" button below this reply box, however, and your pic will be there in all it's glory.
Repeat for any other pics, then click on the "Post Reply" button.
All done.
The only thing I can't help with is re-sizing... I don't seem to get that problem using Picasa as the hosting site.

The vario comes into it's own in bad weather - park the rear into the wind and beneath the vario becomes a pleasant place for sitting or cooking
