A little help needed please. We've decided to go camping this weekend but the weather looks horrendous. The original plan was snowdonia but we are now looking at anywhere max 2hours from Chester that looks even a tiny bit dry!
Anyone heard that their local weather will be ok?!
Wolds Way near Malton stands atop a hill and has very little soil depth which means it drains rapidly. You'll be needing substantial pegs though, preferably rock pegs. Top site with a superb amenities block. Even has baths if you don't enjoy showers.
------------- Getting old isn't fun but the alternative is much worse.
Try Shropshire. The area around Church Stretton is very nice. I've posted reviews of some sites we have used. Good walking country Longmynd & The Stiperstones if you like Hillwalking.
