Split the items up?

As a full set if you are still wanting £400 I feel it's to high.

In my mind if you split the lots in to two you are more likely to sell them.

As previously mentioned

2014 Nevada MP Green used twice I sold for £199 (inc carpet and footprint)

Corresponding Ext I sold for £125 plus postage

I had same issue regarding people buying the tent and then realising it was collection only.

I eventually put the Ext on with a postal option and it sold. Only cost (through ebay postage system) £7.50. It gives a far larger audience.

I have previously sold tents fairly quickly and for a good price but earlier this year I tried to sell one which had been used for 4 nights only and it struggled. I finally put it on Gumtree at a giveaway price and somebody travelled all the way down from up north to buy it. I guess people just aren't buying second hand tents this year unless they are practically given away.

Sell it in separate parts

Although the combined package is worth more than you are asking, people base the price on the tent itself.

You can purchase this tent brand new for quite a bit less than you are asking - for a tent that's been used several times.

I wouldnt purchase a second hand tent for more money than a new one would cost me, regardless of the extras

Poly tent prices fall drastically, while canvas tends to hold its price, or even increase in value

Everything sells at the right price.

Your asking way too much for a 2nd hand polyester tent.

If you asked just under the crucial £200 price point, I'd expect it to sell...
Over that, your going to be left with it... Just like you currently are.

It's not how much You want for it ( if you Really want to sell )
But how much a Buyer is willing to pay unfort.

Have you also tried advertising on the many camping groups on Facebook? There are lots of tent adverts on there.

Sorry to say it Millerblade but, I agree with hankakampa 100%.I wouldn't pay anything like £400 for a used synthetic tent, no matter that it has the accessories.

Like Mucker says, it might be worth also stating how many nights the 'used 6 times' equates to (esp important with synthetic tents, IMHO).

I'd pitch it (pardon the pun!) at just under the £200 mark for the package, if you really want to sell. Or keep it and maybe use it some day if you feel that's too much of a loss.
