campers who spoil it for others by being abusive or break site rules and make everyone else's camping holiday a misery should be put on a list for all sites to see..that will teach them when they get refused when trying to book
------------- Camping Tip #26: In an emergency, a drawstring from a parka hood can be used to strangle a snoring tent friend...or husband!!
Talking of unacceptable behaviour, I'm minded of a stay at Moffat C&CC site several years back. We were a group of 14 units, mostly tents, and because we had to leave early, we'd arranged with the site (who couldn't be more helpful) to leave our vehicles outside the gates. We had to be up at 4.30am, so we all had flasks full of hot water for that essential cuppa first thing. We were, as requested, away from the main pitches but that gap meant ball games and whilst their parents/responsible adults were drinking and watching tv in their vans and awnings, we had balls kicked into our tents, one dog hit broadside (needing vet treatment) and two stoves knocked over. We went to the parents/responsible adults and they did nothing so we went to the warden. The two vans (family friends) involved were told in no uncertain terms to pack it in or leave. The wardens also kept an eye out on our units the next day "in case" - no damage done and no ball games the second night. Oh, as we did ask if anyone has complained about our early exit - no-one had heard us.

I agree, if you don't want to name the site, you should put a review on, a constructive one so site owners and fellow campers get the low down before they book
I learned. Only camp mon-fri, don't do weekends or school holidays. I use sites that tend not to attract the 'party' crowd anyway. Roll on september.
