Just to play devils advocate, lets hope your new tent does not have the same batch of faulty cord used for the guylines?
Or are they recalling the tents already sold with cord from the same batch as your tent?

Final result, for those on this thread who are interested.
I have a brand new tent in my hallway, just delivered as replacement for the faulty one.
I have to say, it’s in much better condition than the first one we received.
I’m even wondering if my first tent was a demonstrator because the first box was damaged and the seams on the bag looked “strained”
This one is perfectly sealed and packed neatly.
Very happy with the outcome.
A massive thanks to everyone who offered advice and a big thank you to Zempire for looking after it’s customers and maintaining their brand image.
I’ll be out at the weekend in it and I cannot wait!!

Hi, I’ve been reading through your posts with great interest as we’re looking for a new tent. We’ve had an Outwell Vermont XL for several years (it’s been brilliant) but the storms from last year in Pembrokeshire finally put it out of action in Force 10 gales as we were packing it up. We’re thinking of replacing it with and air tent and while we don’t need as much room as before still want to be able to full stand up and have enough porch space for a reasonable kitchen... any ideas gratefully received?

Hi, I can only really vouch for the Zempire polycotton tents. Not had any issues since and it’s an excellent tent.
Zempire do smaller tents, I’d recommend looking into those.
Others will also have an opinion, but I don’t feel I have the experience of other brands to comment further.
