colors are very important to me.

they can affect moods and feelings tremendously.

my favorite color for tents is green although i own a brown vango, a red quechua, a blue HiGear and varuous green tents.

i like bright colored accessories and will choose these over bland greys blacks browns beiges when a choice is available.

its important to me that my tent looks inviting with a plethora of colors!

natural woods also look nice to me in a tent - esp if the tent is green or brown.

We went to an outdoor shop with a tent display to look at getting a new tent a couple of years back. All was going well until my partner went inside a blue tent, he couldn't get out quickly enough, he couldn't identify what is was he didn't like but it certainly wasn't for him, yet other similiar tents in different colours he was perfectly ok with.

Interesting. Now I come to think about it, my tents have been getting progressively lighter. My first, a two man dome, was purple; my second, a three man dome was blue and a lighter more pinky purple and actually felt darker inside than the first one. My third three man dome was two-tone green with - oh joy! - windows in the porch, and my fourth and probably last, given how creaky I'm becoming, is an Aztec three man tunnel, also with porch windows, a lighter green. I'm not one who needs blackout for sleeping, so it suits me fine and looks comfortable in the landscape. For me, lighter is definitely better.

As for accessories, the bedroom area carpet is a dark plaid but I found a kingsize 'fake patchwork' duvet cover in a charity shop and made it into a single duvet cover and pillowcase, moon chair throw and cushion cover and small table cloth - all very bright, fresh and cheery - oh, and a length of bunting for those frivolous moments. A couple of bright toning bathmats used as doormats complete the look.

I am not a fan of blue tents, I don't like the look of them standing out against trees and grass, clear to see for miles around. And I find they make you look ill.

Mine are green or green and brown.

I like the sound of a mocha tent.

When I eventually get to camp in S Europe I will get canvas, for the breathability but also the pale colour reflecting, rather than absorbing, heat.

NB those white Quechuas this year. A but hopeful for much of the UK camping season!
