So trying to decide between the emporer or a 6m bell. We areva family of 5 & will be camping in european sites as well as ones closer to home.

Will these tents fit a standard size pitch?

Anyone got either of these tents & can tell be about their pros and cons?

Hello,

I am french and in the same situation. I wish to buy a sibley twin or emperor bell of 4 meters on 6.
I block on the size of camping pitches.

Here is an excerpt of a website concerning the regulation of campsites with stars in france.

https://www.ffcc.fr/reglementation/13/reglementation-terrains-de-camping/30/classement-des-campings/50/terrains-de-camping-classes-1-a-5-etoiles

"The minimum area of a site must be 70 m² for the 1 and 2 star camps, 80 m² for the upper level camps."

I go camping next week and I will watch if a sibley of this size enters a field, knowing that I must also get in the car and a trailer.

During my last vacation I saw tents of type obelink familia 6 https://www.obelink.fr/obelink-familia-6.html   which make 7 x 4. meters on the campsite that I use that is 1 star. So I think it must be ok.

I also thought that if this tent does not pass the caravans with awning either ...

On the French camping forums this type of question is often asked and often people who answer tips to phone the campsite to find out if their sites have a sufficient size.

Sorry for my bad English, I used google translation. I hope this is understandable;)

Seb
