Hi im thinking of getting a trailer and was wondering if anybody has had trouble with site s that have restrictions on the size of the trailer. I was thinking of maybe a 6x4 foot trailer.
No problem with a 6 x 4 we have a 5ft x 3ft 6" Trailer, in fact external length with drawbar is 2.5m which is still tiny in the great scheme of things.
6 x 4 would be an ideal size for a camping Trailer, especially if high sides and a lid are fitted, but you are looking at serious money for anything new in that size with the extras.
I've just bought a trailer today which is also an ex-trailer tent trailer!
It's 5x3 I think, really well made. I did a deal with the guy to include a load of camping stuff too so it has worked out well. Allows me to fill the gaps in the gear I need (though annoyingly I've just bought 2 more camping chairs!) and sell on the rest of the stuff to help recoup some of the cost.
