i am now the happy owner of a new Vango Orava 500xl with footprint porch ground sheet and carpet. Can't wait to book some weekends away now. (Happy Camping) well when we see the sun again
I will be testing the tent out on the 1st weekend of July so i will let you know how it goes. I saw the Tent erected at the Winfields store in Hull and it Ticked all the boxes.
It will be a good test, this is the first Vango tent i have owned. My last tent was an Outwell Nevada XL so it will be interesting to see how the Vango compares.
Well we have been away in our new Vango Orava 500xl tent and what a fantastic tent. It is a large tent with a good size living area of 3M long by 3.8M wide there is a good size front awning area. The bedroom is a good size which comes with a divider if you want or leave as one big sleeping area which is how we had it with 5 SIM's layed out and had plenty of room. It is such an easy tent to pitch on our 2nd weekend we had it fully pitched in the 25 mins as sugested on the web site. I think the angled poles make it much easier. I have done a review and added a couple of pictures on the Tent review area. Camping trip to lincolnshire booked for August so will take some more pics and share. Got the camping bug again but i don't think the doctors can do anything to help.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
