You could try ordinary PVC backed picnic rugs, which is what I have always used. They are the same material as tent carpet but a fraction of the price.
Depending on the area you want to cover you may need two or more and overlap them but bear in mind you don't need them right up to the walls of the tent like a fitted carpet. You don't walk that close to the tent walls and you may have tables, beds, boxes around the edges which also help to hold the rugs down and stop them sliding about.
The rugs come in different sizes and quality so do some research first.
We used a couple of Outwell carpets for our Cabanon tent.
Just a case of finding, the right over sized carpet which we did.
In fact we got one for bedroom pod, and another for the living area.
Then simply laid the carpets upto the wall, and using a black magic marker, and a straight edge, marked of the outline.
Took both carpets to a lady on our local market, who does clothing alterations, and for £10 and a week later, we ended up with two bespoke tent carpets, the lady even re-used the carpet edging, for an even more manufactured finish.
That was back in 2008 and the two carpets are still going strong!
Thanks so much guys 😁
I do actually have a carpet for a ten man tent so i do believe ill try to get that cut down to size like you did Francais
