Hi has anyone else bought a tent from JR Leisure in Leicestershire? They have a tent on their website I want to buy, but it's too far for me to visit them in person, so just wondered if anyone else has bought from them.
Thank you!

I have bought several items from them years ago when they were based at Don Amott Caravans in Hilton Derbyshire.

They are an old established company, and l never had any problems with any of my purchases tbh, which included a Litchfield Montana frame tent, a few cheap ridge tents for the kids to garden camp in, and most of my caravanning equipment when l bought my first Caravan in 1982.

Don Amotts took over the shop and display area to run it themselves a few years ago, when the business was expanded, so no JR Camping near to us any longer, so hence we have not delt with them for any further purchases since they left Derbyshire.

I bought from them last year, not a tent though, it was a new chair and a few other bits. Delivery was quick and fault free.

I live local to JR Leisure, so never ordered online but have visited and purchased items from them several times. They also sold me a tent last year that they don't usually stock (Kampa Croyde 6) and did a good deal on it. Staff are very helpful and as another forum member has said, they've been around for years!

I bought a tent from them in January. It's got a minor fault, actually, but their customer service has been superb (not too sure I could say the same about Vango, but we shall see). I would use them again.
