Hi
I have been inspired by Geoffprinter’s bell tent and tarp setup on a thread last summer, and an aiming to do something similar. Geoff kindly provided a link to the site where a ridge pole can be bought, but as it is not UK the postage doubles the cost. I wondered if anyone else uses ridge poles or has their own version? As the tarp I wil use is heavy canvas, I would like to use a pole rather than a ridge line.

You can buy them off amazon (etc) or what I'd do is use normal tent steel poles and put each end of the run in a vice to flatten it and drill a hole through.....

It must be seamless tube, wardrobe rails are sometimes seamed.
