I need everything! I want to buy good quality camping equipment that packs up small, doesn’t cost a bomb and will be long lasting (and is quick/easy to erect and pack up where appropriate) If anyone has any recommendations for the following items I’d be grateful
Camping kitchen stand
Stove
Table/chairs
Camping chairs
Sim’s/beds
Sleeping bags
Windbreaker
Heater
Electric cooker/fridge
Oooh, a Gelert Cabana 4 berth, where did you find that ? And which design ?.....they're as rare as hens teeth . I have friends who spend many hours scouring eBay for one.
The tent will be fine for you and a wee one. As for equipment.....that's how most of us spend our winter evenings, online shopping.
Aldi have camping gear a couple of times a year, my local Aldi still had some bits and pieces left a couple of weeks ago.....you might be lucky .

Look out for Lidl/Aldi having camping stuff on offer, certainly for chairs/tables etc.
We've never bothered with a kitchen unit. We use an aluminium roll-top table for prep/as a cooker stand and keep the cooking gear in a box.
Vango are good for reasonably priced sims.
Outwell Campion Lux bags are decent for late spring/summer/early autumn camping and reasonably cheap. Take some fleece blankets for extra warmth, sitting out in the evening etc.
Coleman do a decent cheapish windbreak with fibreglass poles so it packs up small. We don't use ours any more so you can have it if I can find it and it's not stupidly expensive to get it to you.
Never used a heater apart from the barbecue. (Obviously outside only. NEVER take a barbecue inside a tent.)
If you're only going for a few days a good passive coolbox (Coleman Extreme/Iceytek) is better than an electric fridge IMHO.

Thanks thebiz :)
I was almost gifted the tent (£60!) brand new from a friend of a friend. So lovely of them! It’s the black and grey design. Still groovy but not as ‘out there’ as the purple flowery one! Lol
Now I do like a bit of online shopping... that’ll keep me busy ha!

Really helpful, thank you seanfdh and that is very kind of you re the windbreaker :) If you no longer want/use it I’d be happy to buy it from you and pay the postage if it wasn’t to expensive. Thank you :)
We’ll almost certainly always have to camp with EHU so a heater is a definite on my list lol
For a heater, just buy a little electric fan heater, think aldi either have them in or coming in soon. Just make sure it has a auto cut out function if it tips over. Aldi also do the electric coolboxes too, mines been going strong for at least 6 years now. Just remember though that they arent a fridge, they will only cool to so many degrees below the outdoor temp.
For fleece bankets, cheap kitchen stuff etc, you cant go wrong with ikea. I bought all my camp kitchen stuff (openers, spoons etc) in a certain colour, so that way if they end up in the house after a camping trip, i know they have to go back in the camping box.
Can i also add that you may want more pegs (big thick heavy duty ones), some duct tape, some cable ties, and a roll of tenacious tape (this is used for any fabric repairs, hopefully you wont need it). All this stuff can be used for repairs, split poles etc. The pegs are because the ones usually supplied are rubbish, spindly things.
If you are heating, cooking and cooling electric you with need an EHU (electric hook up) to connect to the campsite's power supply. Arriving at camp with all your gadgets and no way to plug them in could be embarrassing.
