Folks,

It's been six years since we last camped. With less kids keen to do it again. I think we always travelled very heavy. Also the campsite always ended up being so disorganized. So, the trailer we take lies empty during the camping trip. Is there a way of using it to segment and store clothes for each of the kids and save us bending down all the time. Ideas very welcome.

I guess you could buy some very large sealed plastic boxes quite cheaply.

I was thinking of plastic storage tubs too, and if you invested in more expensive ones (Really Useful Tubs??) then you could possibly use them as seats.

I've got one of those folding sit mats https://amzn.to/2LMzfhs which gives a little back support. I use it on top of the 'in case of emergency/something breaks/spares' box which lives in my campervan and saves having to find somewhere in the van for a 'proper' chair.

Really good idea. I like the seat too.

Am thinking we'll build a slide out system that allows us to pull out of the trailer.

We use the “Really Useful Box’s” we found the 42lt to be the ideal fit for our trailer which is 152cm x 110cm x 72cm.

The box size we use makes for a good size seat, and are sturdy enough to stack to make a small table, handy for setting up and packing away.

All eight box’s stack neatly in a corner of my garage, taking up almost no room at all, and stuff in the box’s keeps perfectly dry.
