Hello, I have a 300w pure sine inverter running off a 12v 100ah leisure battery so how long can I run a 12v electric coolbox from the fully charged battery and can I use a adapter on the inverter to run 2 items simultaneously
Thanks
approx 1 hr and half if your lucky! even using the invertor wont make it last any longer as the invertor uses power itself and that was just for the coolbox on its own, if you add another item onto the invertor depending on what it is you will be even less time
The coolbox will run slightly longer of 12v rather than use the inverter.
I have run my 12v portable compressor fridge of a 120Ah SLA leisure battery for five days straight, at which point the battery was at 50% capacity, running a SLA battery lower will result in a shorter service life of the battery.
A bigger inverter will have more power losses, it's not the size of the inverter it's the size of the battery that governs how much power you have available.

You don't need an inverter, you can power a 12v coolbox from a 12v battery by simply connecting them together. An inverter converts 12v to 230v but if the appliance is 12v you eliminate the need for an inverter.
An inverter uses a lot of power, if you need to power something for a longer time you need a bigger battery, a bigger inverter will flatten your battery quicker.

A 60W 12v coolbox will draw app 5 Amps per hour, if you drain your battery to no lower than 50% capacity (50Ah) to avoid reducing the battery life, the most you could possibly get is 10 hours running direct off the battery.
