We have done 3 weeks touring Denmark with 3 kids of that age and no electric. This was a while ago and our needs are slightly different but we still like to camp for weeks rather than a few nights.

A laundry, either on site or google for one nearby will be very helpful as you won't need to take as many clothes.

Hamman style towels will take up less room and be quicker to dry (or microfibre ones)

A portable loo, or even a potty may be helpful for the kids at night.

If the site has a cool block facility, you will generally be ok getting fresh food every day, or every other day.

You might want to look into a solar panel, to charge electric devices and have lights, or the camp site might have the facilities to do this.

I have to say, I look back on the times we camped without electricity very fondly, especially when we went abroad. Our sleep patterns were so much better, as we got up and went to sleep earlier since we didn't have light. We also got away from the news, I remember a store assistant in Denmark telling me all about the riots that had happened in the UK. We do find that electricity makes our camping life easier, and I'm sure a lot of memories are rose tinted!

I wouldn’t bother with a gas fridge, much better to get a compressor fridge cool box. You can get a decent one for £300 these days and it will run off your car 12v socket, you just need to drive the car to make sure the battery doesn’t discharge too much but on mine I can run the fridge for a day or two before it discharges too much.

Compressor cool boxes are a bit pricey but you will be able to keep food fresher for longer than a traditional cool box with ice packs and you will therefore waste less food. It makes camping with small kids a lot easier in my experience.

batteries for the torches.
and a coolbox. I second using milk cartons or soda bottles as ice blocks. I wrapped mine in electrical tape. Makes it easier to Identify in the freezer too.
