Hi guys
Sorry if this is a daft question but if going out for the day off site on foot say beach or local shop / pub or what ever do you leave the ladder up or remove / fold away mine is the detatchable type

Don’t have a roof top tent, but we used to go camping & used to lock away anything particularly valuable in the car, just for peace of mind.
I’d put the ladder away in case any feral children on the site fancy a look-see inside the Wendy House while you’re away. (99.9% children are fine but we’ve seen & experienced some horrors while their parents were busy socialising.)
On an adults only site, I wouldn’t bother.

Everyone I’ve seen with a roof top has put the ladder inside the vehicle when going out for the day.
