Hi guys and gals. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a portable phone charger for camping. Always need a phone incase you need help and to obviously charge phone a few times hopefully. Thanks for any replies on this. Thanks Eddie
Plus, I also find that independent sites often have a 3 pin socket for your own hair dryer in the ladies (can’t speak for the mens) & they’re free to use. If not there, there might be a tv room or campers kitchen which will also have a socket. Quite often see phones charging up while the owner is showering or washing the plates.
Pxwaxpy Solar Power Bank on Amazon for about £23 will hold (according to blurb) enough to charge iPhone XS up to 6-7 times, Galaxy S10 up to 5-6 times, iPad Air2 up to 2-3 times. Can be re-charged by mains or Solar.

Yes a power bank, see what size battery your phone has, decide how many times you may need to charge it, buy a power bank of the appropriate size. A typical smartphone is around 3000mAh so a 10000mAh power bank would charge from flat just over three times.
If you have cordless power tools at home you could consider using one of the batteries with a clip on usb adapter. I have a Makita one but I'm sure several other manufacturers also produce them. A couple of 18v 6A batteries will last me a week or more and that includes streaming videos on a tablet. There are all sorts of expensive camping type 'toys' you can get such as lighting, fans, compressor fridges, coffee makers and even bikes that run on these batteries (not for long in some cases).
