Does this help:
https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/SunnCamp-Olympic-Plus/379

We had a 9 berth 'tri lobe' tent years ago for our group trips to France where you could claim as much pitch space as you liked on a 'pop up' camp site, but found it was too big for most defined pitches and we couldn't use it on regular camp sites.

All in all, it was a horrible tent, with endless cris-crossing guy ropes that rendered the ground space between 'lobes' virtually unusable, which meant you had to spread out on even more ground to sit outside, hard work to erect even mob handed, as so many poles, and the vast complex shape fly sheet was a complete PITA to pack away. Also had nowhere to safely/conveniently cook, so had to erect a gazebo as a kitchen! We took up so much pitch space to achieve so very little! We gave up on it after couple of years use and got a far more compact and usable conventional tunnel tent. Used pop-up bedrooms in the living space to give us the total berths we needed, and had the porch area as a kitchen.

Everyone to there own and all that, but that tent went down as our one and only complete camping cock up in 40 years! Made us far more aware of pitch space and how to best use it, so a lesson learned in a way.
