I made these for him from scratch as he cannot chew these apart!

I bought the bits and pieces including the PVC coated braided stainless steel wire, and the gadget to crimp the sleeves.

The ready made ones I bought from Amazon only had one crimped sleeve and he managed to pull the end out when he lurched forward while tethered to the van.

So I decided to make my own:

Ready made one from Amazon which is flimsy compared to mine!

Awaiting it first 'proper' outing, an inflatable tent and two new airbeds with built in foot pumps.
My posh bell tent with all whistles and bells got too much for me to pitch, and when the car was replaced for a smaller one, it wouldn't fit. Nobody wanted to buy it for a sensible price so I donated it to the cub scouts instead.
The 'Gouyu' infaltable caught my eye being half the weight of the bell and requiring just 10 pegs instead of 30, plus it was on Amazon reduced to under 200 quid with the option to return if not happy. It was due to arrive 16th July but turned up on the 2nd, just two days from ordering.
I kept a bespoke '9 pole with gate and top rails' from Cornish windbreaks from my caravan days, it will fit against the tent to make a corral for my two small dogs. There's two 'new but never used' posh chairs as well.
To complete my latest purchases is a Handirack roof box to fit on my inflatable roof bars. All this new stuff to go on my newly acquired Nissan Micra. It's just like starting all over again.

A small camping tarp for use during windy conditions when it is too risky to use the windout awning/canopy.

The last trip at Norfolk Coast was very windy/gusty at times and I was not comfortable in using the windout awning.

A small tarp should be easier to use to provide some shade and does not cost as much to replace if it is ripped/damaged compared with the Fiamma awning.

Replacement cab pleated window blind in its cartridge, after dog shredded the original blind when it was closed to keep her cool. And a roll of fly screen repair tape; you can guess why.
