Nice stove set. If I might make a suggestion, you can fit an extra burner and pan handle inside the kettle along with a Triangle, giving you a two-burner cooking system...

Was on the look out for a lighter rucksack but ended up buying a heavier. Need to cosset my back when it heals so have bought one of the last Osprey Aether pro 70 packs. They have been replaced by a new version which I think is a retrograde.
So, to offset the weight increase I bought a petzl bindi.
Also, browsing the trangia webshop, I saw they are now selling spare triangle insets. These are just the thing to put on the top to hold smaller pots .Bought that and their new pot/mug.
Then I bought a replacement pump sack for the exped. I have a rechargeable tiny pump but the pump sack weighs less. I also ended up getting another alcohol stove. Being confined at home is bad for the online shopping but I'm not spending my cash on going out anywhere.
I'm currently researching a lighter 3 season sleeping bag or quilt. I have a 4 season that is 1.2kg. I think I could get a 0 degree Celsius one for 600 gms if I save my pennies.
All this points to plans for some backpacking once all healed and physio therapied..

Excellent use of your time Ewen!

I bought some of those solar powered lights that you stick in the ground to put by my guy ropes as they were on special offer in Sainsburyís.

I should be selling surplus equip atm, not buying it.

Just bought a new lighter tent today - Outwell Odessa 5 was £649.99 reduced to £199. Couldn't find much about it on Google so wrote to Outwell who said it was a genuine campaign tent and only sent out to retailers hence not on their website. Found a Outwell Greenwood 5 footprint fits (just) so trying it out later this month. The air tent getting too heavy for hubby so will try out this poled one.

A new evazote mat turned up today from the UK after having to pay customs charges.
It seems to be made of fairy dust and unicorn tears and is lighter than my sit mat. I'm going to use it as a sit mat, vestibule mat and under my air mat to stop it from sliding.
It weighs 74gms, is 150cm long and 50cm wide.

I had almost 50% extra to pay but Ireland has a dearth of good lightweight gear.
Got the new rucksack this week. Very comfy. Once I'm back driving (and have a car again) I'll organise a car boot sale and purge old gear. I have my three man cobra to my eldest. I still have another 3 backpacking tents I don't use
