Hi; I’m new posting here so apologies if I’m I the wrong topic section!
I was given a vintage cabanon tent and would like to sell it, the condition looks immaculate but unfortunately I am not able to put it up on my own. Do you think people would buy it unseen? Also how do people go about posting these things as it is extremely heavy canvas and I’m in the middle of nowhere and I don’t think people would travel in order to collect it. It’s a beautiful tent and is currently sat unused in the spare bedroom and I’d love for it to be used for its full potential.

Welcome to UKCS.
I still have 2 Cabanon tents, one a 3-man ridge tent and the other a ‘Pyramide’ with a central pole. I could put them both up by myself, the Pyramide just took longer on my own & that’s a valid enough reason to sell.
You could say “buyer collects” but it might be preferable to meet roughly halfway anyway, say a m/way service station. Personally, I Wouldn’t courier it - too many horror stories of unscrupulous people saying the item has arrived damaged. And you could try selling it on UKCS (for free) as well as the usual places; I know someone who bought their Motorhome off Gumtree.
