I could never get along with a sleeping bag on an airbed or pad, it’s not at all like sleeping at home. That`s when I had the brainwave of using the Outwell Contour XL and putting the Outwell Dreamcatcher 7.5 inside it.
It feels like being in your own bed, you can easily turn over and stay on your pad without creating draughts, and with the contour, you can have the hot or the cold side up according to the weather.

Never thought of doing it that way round! Our mat is slightly wider than our bag, so not sure if that would be possible (can't remember the makes, and they're away in the loft now).
