Hello all, it's a very long time since I was on this forum. Nice to see it's still active! I am about to start camping again and want to use my old Cabanon. I'm trying to remember the name of it. It's 5 berth, 2 bedroom pods and a hanging rail. The sun canopy is an add on. Can anyone identify it from the photo please. Thanks!
I'm not sure if I can remember how to erect it but I think it was quite straightforward!
ETA My bad, I can see it listed in my previous tents! It's a chambord! I don't suppose anyone has a copy of the instructions? I think I will be able to work it out but I'm about 30 years older now!
Several threads on UKCS about this very tent. Search here or google.
We had a different Cabanon; outer first, inners next, plug-on sun / rain canopy's last.
Invite friends to lunch & together work out what to do, in your garden or nearby park. Use coloured tape or 1-2-3 stripes, to show what pole ends go together. Hint (based on big gazebos): assemble the frame but leave the legs short, put the canvas over then lengthen the legs, otherwise you’re jumping up trying to get the canvas only the tall frame.
You can usually download instructions from the Cabanon website x I too have not been logged on in a while but couldn't resist a swift reply. Hope it helps.
You will find a tent information sheet printed on fabric and sewn insde the main door to the right as you step in.
If not there look to the right as you step in of the master bedroom.
