We are looking to upsize our tent and buy second hand, I have seen the Corado 8 and its size and layout look amazing.

Firstly is it possible to zip 2 of the bedroom
Pods together to make one bigger? Or is there another tent with a bigger compartment which would fit?

Or can anyone suggest a different brand/model which provides the same space?

Thank you

Pretty certain the following is correct, and Google images appear to back this up (Google "Hi gear corado 8 floor plan")

The bedroom pods are two separate "rooms" either side of a central "walkway".
4 persons either side = 8 berth.
However, images show each of these rooms have a dotted line to the centre. This almost always signifies a dividing curtain, effectively giving 4 x 2 person bedrooms.
Simply remove/tie back the divider to make it 1 x 4 berth room (or a double-sized room for 2 persons).
So yes, you could have 2 x 2berth on one side and a single larger room the other.

Note, you won't be able to move the dividers to give a 3+1 berth.

Hopefully, this works... 🤞

APOLOGIES!!!

Looking at some pics on this page:
https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/hi-gear-corado-8/1428

It appears they are 4 separate 2 berth pods.
(Image 42 of 65 shows only one pod on one side of this set-up)

That dotted line has well and truly stitched me up, as it seems they are not a dividing curtain afterall!
