We haven't used our kit for about four years now, mostly due to my wife's health, so I'm selling up. Looking for some recommendations for the best place(s) to advertise it.
I've got an alloy pole Vango Nevis 400 with footprint and carpet. Plus loads of other gear such as kitchen stand, utility tent, EHU, complete kitchen/cookware/tableware and CampingGaz stove.
Would I be better to advertise the lot or individually?
UKCS has a free to advertise platform/function which in the middle of the second row in the top banner labelled 'Free Adverts'.
I would also advise the free to use Facebook Marketplace for advertising locally.
I had used eBay in the past with no reported issues.
Good luck with your sales.

I'm sad to hear about your wife's health and hope you both find some other form of adventures together.
Like DK, I've sold things via this forum and the free ads section, on ebay, and on FB Marketplace - including several tents.
Regarding selling as a package rather than individual items: you could try both options (after having worked out what you would expect/want from a package sale - and convenience of that - v selling items individually.
I would suggest collection, and cash on collection, are the best options for buyer and seller.
It's still school summer holiday time so someone might be interested. Alternatively, store for the spring when minds turn towards summer fun.
Consider also, how and what you put in your ad title and description. What would make YOU stop and look, or search terms to put in?
I wish you well.
(I STILL wish I'd not sold the Outwell Sliding Canopy. Was a great piece of kit and I never used it. )

I would suggest Facebook for Markeplace, dedicated Vango sites and Gumtree as they are free. Buyers and sellers can communicate with each other and hopefully agree on a mutually agreeable price. Ebay used to be good but charges for private sellers have increased so you would receive at least 10% less than the selling price. I would also sell all your equipment as one lot as it`s less hassle. As previously advised, cash on collection is probably best. I wish you all the best with your sale and whatever the future holds for you and your wife.
