I have had a problem with  the site manager at sethorns in the new forest . He got shirty with me and said if i came again i would have to pay double. other new forest sites have been ok. I have the saggy bedroom problem but as stated you only sleep in them . we brought it because of the large living area. great for the kids when its raining all in all id say its a top tent

I had to pay double last year as the site was very structured and had marked out pitches but the tent did only just go over them. I always check and tell the site how big the tent is first. If they want your custom then they may be happy to agree maybe an extra fee rather than double. Tents are much bigger than they used to be and a lot of sites are realising this.

I have just emailed a place in Norwich with my tent size so hopefully I might eventually get away this summer. Feel a bit nervous as we only went away for the first time last year and that was with experienced campers but we are going on our own this year. Might have to have a practice run at putting it up again before we go.

We had problems with sagging bedrooms and zips not closing. Adjusting the guy ropes seems to help but may have to try and solve the problems this year.

Overall I love the 'fabric bungalow'. We had two picnic tables in it end to end last year with 8 of us eating at them and still had room to walk round. Nice and warm as it rained most nights but lots of space inside.

Hi everyone, we have just bought one of these tents. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the tent when it is up? We have got a pitch booked 11m x 8m. I was told the tent is approx 7m x7m is this right?

Thanks alot everyone

You have probably got the newer version which may be a little bit bigger than  7x7 but that size pitch should be fine.

I just looked up some camping shops online to find the dimensions of ours.

Its a lovely tent. We have used ours 3 times and although halfway putting it up it seems as though it will never go, it just suddenly does, so dont panic.

Happy Camping

Kay

Thanks for that, we bought one of the cheap aldi tents last year to see how we liked camping. Loved it, so decided to really go for it.

There is a lovely site in Teversal which is near you called Shardaroba. It is quite pricey and they were a bit funny about the size of our tent but it is run by the camping and caravan club now so they may be better. The bathrooms were nicer than mine at home! Its on the site search on here.

Love Kay
