See that's the trouble with these big corporation sites, I've been to a couple of them, one in Nairn near Inverness and one in Dornoch further north. The first one was ok, for instance in the clubhouse the entertainment was mainly bands which played music rooted from the local area, ie; Scottish folk, very good it was. But the next time I went one these super-sites, about 6 years later, the music was all mind numbing "Star trekking across the univeeeeeeeeeerse" or "Big fish, little fish, carboard box" With some guy dressed as a chipmunk giving it "C'moooooooooon this one's for the parents! Let's see you all up on the floor!!!!" Pulease. I prefer the more intimate family run sites, the biggies tend to be a bit money mad, squeezing as many punters into the tent area as possible then hitting you with hidden costs for amenities you thought you were already paying over the odds for with the pitch fees. Wow, thanks I enjoyed that, nothing like a good rant to stir the blood!!

Sorry but i had to laugh, last year my kids went to the isle of wight with my sister to a Park Resorts holiday park and all they kept singing when they got back was: big fish, little fish, cardboard box.
