As far as I am aware the CC do accept 'non-members' tent campers where they have provision for them to pitch. Three immediately spring to mind, Edinburgh, Rowntree Park York, Seaview at Spittal near Berwick. All have excellent amenity buildings. Just browsing through the 2006 "Our Site Collection" handbook others included are Tredegar House Country Park, Freshwater East, Wales, all seven Irish sites, twelve in various parts of Scotland, and about thirty five in England.
