We are looking at exactly the same tents, we have a suncamp 20xp which for the weekends is very big, and we are looking to down-size a bit.
You asked what the difference is between the montana and colorado, well as Jen said the Montana has the sewn in ground sheet which for us is really important, it makes such a difference at night when its cold. I like the idea that the bedrooms can come out too for more space.
They both look great tents and are both flysheet 1st which is good if your packing up when its raining and want to get your tent down as soon as possible.
Vango still do a Colorado though? If we're still talking about the Outwell, the Indiana (old Colorado) now has a bathtub style living area groundsheet for 2006 (I think it now apparently has a 'lip' on it to be a bit more weather proof?), although it's still not a SIG. So, your choice mainly rests on whether you prefer SIG or detachable. The guys at Camperlands, Manchester were very helpful when I was asking the same questions.
I would have liked to have the Montana 4 or 6 too, but my OH & I have finally plumped for the Wynnster Anglesey (with SIG), mainly due to price difference (£149.99 for the Wynnster versus well over £300/400 for the Montana 4/6 plus matching canopy (which I would have had to get)!! We are on a budget but will definitely consider the Montana when it's time for our next tent!
I would persoanly go for the Montana purely for the fact that it has a sewn-in-groundsheet. But then again, I wouldn't buy a tent without a sewn-in-groundsheet.

Have you ever bought a tent Steve?, as from what you were saying yesterday you get 'em all as 'back handers'!!!!

Never be afraid to try something new, remember.... Amateurs built the 'Ark'... but Professionals built the 'Titanic' !!!
Your new Wynnster Anglesey looks almost the same as my Wynnster venue 5 that I got a couple of years ago but the Anglesey has the SIG, just want to say its a great tent, easy to put up, and the living area is great, fit loads of stuff in table, chairs etc.. having the 3 doors is really handy too.

Good choice on the Easycamp Napoli 500 Steve, loved this tent when I saw it last year, be interested in a review when you get the chance to use it.
Its first proper use will be June at the Kent meet. I will do loads of photos and then post a review on here. I have put it up in the garden and for the money, I don't think you can go wrong.
Thanks for your post, it was a long & hard decision but it looks like we made a good choice from your comments .
I must admit, I bought this tent without seeing it in the flesh (a cardinal sin, I know) but I did read a few reviews first! My OH ordered it from The Complete Outdoors yesterday afternoon, we were quoted 5-7 days delivery yet it arrived this morning - talk about efficient!!!! My elderly neighbours took it in for me as I wasn't expecting it, but I only got home late so I'll get it from them in the morning. I can't wait to see it in the flesh... One question, how big is it in real life? We have 2 cars of differing sizes, I just know we'll end up taking the bigger one, what with all the stuff we can fit into our brand spanking new tent!
You will find that you will buy more and more. When I first started, everything went into the boot of the car. It didn't take very a long ( a trip or 2 ) before we needed a roofbox. A few trips later and we needed a trailer. A little while later we needed the trailer and the roofbox. This year we are thinking of getting a bigger trailer.
Yes, you're right - I have been looking at a small trailer (Erde) already as my Stepdaughter has been talking about bringing her friend along too. We might also need to take some entertainment should the weather turn bad!
However my OH seems to find it funny that I'd also want to use the trailer with our smaller car (when there are just us 2 going), as he considers Micras to be Women's shopping cars... but I'm sure Percy (my Micra) will handle it! When Mark (my OH) changes his car, we'll go for one with a bigger boot and engine (to cope with the size of roofbox & trailer we'll probably need by then!), then eventually upgrade again to a Montana like yours. Hope you find the right trailer, Jan.
