Until a few years ago, we used to spend a lot of our 'available time' in France. Nowadays, we spend all our time in the U.K...
I love Norfolk & Suffolk, which luckily enough is only a short drive away. I reckon this year It'll be about 4 or 5 full weeks and as many (long) weekends as possible!...
I would also like to fit a week or so, on the Dorset coast, into the picture somewhere. I went there as a teenager and thought it was beautiful (the sun shone, every day!) and fancy a trip back...
I was wondering if you have any favourite sites in Norfolk/Suffolk area? I camped with my sons last year near Cawston in Norfolk, lovely peaceful site, but it's always good to have a change.
I try to get away every other weekend through the summer. I would love to have a whole week or even two but my playmate won't camp so our main hols are in proper rooms!

Hi, Leila...
There's two particular favourites... "Walnut Farm" at Waxham, close to the sand dunes and beautiful beaches of Waxham/Sea Palling. It's 'a bit off the beaten track' but lovely and quiet, with nice seaside and 'Broadland' walks. Gt. Yarmouth, with 'entertainment' and shopping, is about 12 miles away. The site is only small (Camping & Caravan Club) and friendly, it is clean & tidy and has all the 'facilities' you need...
"Rose Farm" at Burgh Castle (about 5 miles to Gt. Yarmouth) is another small, friendly, quiet site. Again, it has everything you need, with lovely walks, Gorleston Beach is not far away and there are beautiful views across miles of 'Broadland' marshes, from the castle (fort) ruins...
If you choose either site, I'm sure you wont be disappointed... Andy...
