I have the Montana 12 and I can't praise it enough. Easy to erect and take down, comfortable, excellent quality and handles the weather well. Ample space for a family.------------- Steve

I have a 2005 monty 4 and put quite simply its best tent i've ever had - one friend of mine has the 6 and another the 12 - and they are equally as smitten with theirs
and i'm pretty confident in saying that the montana range was by far the best selling tent range of last year - it was selling out like hot cakes everywhere - considering the features it has and the improvements for this year - chances are it's gonna do the same this year

We had the 2005 version of the Monty 6 and we loved it so much that we've now sold it and bought the 2006 version as we like the improvements so much. A fab tent...would highly recommend it.

We are thinking of getting the Monty 4 2006 version with the funky add-on canopy. Brill tent.

We have a Monty 6 and love it. We spent 11 nights in it in France last June and it endured two heavy thunderstorms amidst the 35 degrees the rest of the time! Loads of room for the two of us, could sit inside late at night safe from the midges with loads of space around us, I can't wait to go again!

We have a Monty 4 with front attachment. It was brilliant last year. SIG is really good, keeps out all the cold wind.
If I could afford it I would swop for a 2006 version, it has the electricity flap.

Rob,
I bought the Outwell Montana 6 (2006 Model) on Saturday. Obviously not used it yet but the 2005 model got rave reviews and the 2006 model is improved. Better poles (2005 version apparently had a pole problem) and extended canopy on the side entrance. It is available to view at the the 'Go Outside' chain of stores. Cost £335.00; couldn't find it cheaper on the internet. Previously I owned a Lichfield Madrid 6dlx- found it drafty hence why I went for the sewn in ground sheet Montana.
Regards
------------- Tony & Elaine

The poles of the new 2006 Montanas are the same as the replacement ones for the Montana 2005. The original 2005 poles kept splitting so Outwell replaced them. The pole bag is 2kg heavier than the replacment 2005 ones, but this is due to the extra pole for the porch. Must admit though, I am especially pleased with the 2006 model. ------------- Steve
