Hi all, can anyone advise me of the best rechargeable torch to buy for camping ? I want something of reasonable size but it doesn't have to be able to pick out a German fighter plane at half a mile range as some people seem to need ! Just something of reasonable size, price and quality for keeping in the tent for those late night toilet trips etc . Any ideas? Thanks, chris

If you log onto the QVC.com site they were selling TWO of the very popular wind up torches that seem to be virtually indestructable, and give of quite a good light that left the ordinary torches a long way behind. You will never need to buy batteries ever again and the feedback for these has been exceptional.The price isnt bad if you think about it from a long term view, NO batteries ever again, indestructable, quick wind up lasts about 20mins, NO bulbs to ever change as these are 3 L.E.D's, and the kids get to play with them keeping them amused. Damn why haven't I bought them yet,lol.
Hi, keep your eyes open in your local lidl (think thats how its spelt), we had a osram 3 led tourch, which took 2 aa batterys, so its small enough to fit in your pocket, for 4.99 its what we always use to nip to the loo`s at night, good luck
