Have you had either of them out for a practice run?  If not you could add up how many pegs of each kind you need whislt having a go at puttingthem up. The pegs that come with it won't be totally useless either, they will be ok for pegging down the fly- you probably just need 8 Deltas for the main guys on your Monty 12, and then i usually use a bout 8 of those rippled angle pegs for securing the corners of the fly and the feet of the poles.

Sorry, Skatty, but Outwell pegs are no  different to any of the other pegs out there.

Apart from Deltapegs that is.

lol sorry rob obviously Delta pegs far out perform any of the 'freebies' you get with the tent ,I only meant in relation to 'freebies' you get with other tents the Outwell ones are thicker and stronger but yes they are still only rubbish basic pegs !

To be honest I didn't realise that the tent is supplied with pegs! (I haven't taken it out of the bag yet).I have read lots of good things about the Deltapegs so maybe I'll get some anyway.

I'm aiming for a practice erection  in a couple of weeks, when it's a bit drier.

Thanks for the responses.
