Anyone looking for a new tent try Winfields display if you are in the north west, went tonight they now have outwell and khyam and many other makes, i didnt used to like it there but i was impressed, every year tents seem to come on so much from the previous year, went inside a few and it was raining its time to start thinking getting the stuff out!!
We went today...was a bit odd as the tents were surrounded by snow!
I quite fancy a few, Monty 4 and the Gelert alaska. Alsolike the fact that they extended the outdoor area inside, moved most of the shoes/boots out and re arranges it..much easier to navigate now it's not so busy. Went to outdoor action in Blackburn too, they have a good display but were mostly last years...although at fab prices....can't decide which tent to have, campus/kyham yale or gelert alska....
Just seen the link - the area circled is the mill site Winfields use for storage. The actual shop is on the roundabout at the junction of the A56 and Blackburn road. Anyone coming from the M65 will no doubt see the signs, there is a McDonalds and a little chef on the opposite side of the roundabout
