Well its nearly here, the day in which we take that leap into the unknown. We are going camping! I am very excited about the whole event and think we are going to have a fantastic time once we actually get there, but getting there is the problem. Well ok perhaps not a problem but my goodness me how nerve racking is the whole adventure!!!

I am worrying about this, thinking about that, got no end of lists (which are so obviously miles too long) and have today to pack the car up, go shopping, clear the house up, usual chores and have a two hour driving lesson.Not to mention kids and pets. I am now thinking that perhaps I am not organised at all.

Is this all quite normal for a first timer?

But by about 6.00pm tomorrow, you will be sat in a field watching the sun go down with a drink in your hand, enjoy.

did I lock the door? Where is the map? Have we got the food?

We can second that. Some of our last minute trips have been great. One that springs to mind was setting off at 7:30pm and being pitched, fed and watered at Lickhill Manor by 9pm...!!!

Well the car is now busting, and thats before me, partner and kids oh and the cooler.Anyone would think we were going for weeks!!!

 Getting rather excited now, can't wait to experience the whole camping aventure. Will be sure to let you know how we get on.

Firstly welcome to UKCS good luck with your first trip. but be warned it will become expensive /addictive. Every time we go i have to buy something else for next time. i seem to be spending my whole time reading about camping ( on here ) planning camping ( on here ) or shoppping for going camping..lol :)
