Definitely a bucket with lid, put a little water in the bottom and put on a drop of Zoflora ( floral disinfectant) and the tent smells lovely even when the bucket is half full
Empty it down the chemical disposal point in the morning.

Wish someone would convince my OH to buy one of these buckets.  I hate having to walk to the toilet in the pitch black on my own in the middle of the night.
