Hi There This may sound nutz, but does anyone know where you can buy a tepee style tent  which will not break the bank. Have seen one in the eurohike tent brochure £60 , un sure if this would do a weekend and the odd stop over night. Wants to be quick to put up and withstand the rain and some wind. Have seen some but they are over £300 a bit much

There's also a company called Light My Fire who do Tentipi - these are the real deal!! They are pricey, but if you like the cheaper range and want to upgrade have a look at these - my brood call them real red indian tents!!

The only details I can find at the moment are Tel: 0845-6588549
www.lightmyfire.uk.com

We saw a whole range of these at a medieval weekend where all the re-enactors were living in them - brilliant!!

Have fun

Ckay

Thanks for your reply, have seen the millets ones, they look a little back garden fun things looking for one with a little more quality without the price of the real macoy tepee tents. Quick and easy to put up. That will turn a few stares from other folk stareing out of there tin tents(caravans)
