We bought a Nebraska XL today at Taunton Leisure tent show at Sanders Garden World, Highbridge.  We've been measuring the garden to see if we can try and put it up before we go away at the end of May. Praying for a sunny weekend!!

Hi

Saw one up near us at Easter. Looks like a fantastic tent.

Would get one if they weren't so heavy or expensive!

Enjoy your new tent.

The bag with wheels can actually make it more of a problem than the one with out as I found on my last camping trip.  I had the 2005 model Monty 12 last season which had the standard carry bag.  This year I bought the Monty 12 2006 which came with the wheeled carry bag.  The wheels refuse to go across anything other than flattish ground, especially if it is very grassy of muddy so if you have more than a trip just from the car it becomes a pain.  Also, the bags with wheels do not have a shoulder carry strap and just a handle at each end, so if you do have to carry it then it is with outstretched arms which means you cannot carry it very far. It seemed a great idea on paper but in full use I have found them more of a pain.

We bought one last Monday and we`re testing it in a couple of weeks time.I wanted to put it up in the garden but hubby refused to have it on his veg patch after he`d planted his potatoes..........spoilsport.

It isn`t as big or as heavy as our frame tent so it`s great to us. The wheels we aren`t fussed about and if we have to carry it two handles mean two people can carry it so less heavy!

How long to put it up? Have heard about an hour, less as you get used to it, but we shall see, depends how long hubby and son spend arguing about it I suppose (son is 13 year old Scout who knows it all). I will just stand back and inflate the airbeds and let them fight it out!
