I cant wait, I am so excited, its the first camping trip of the year, to one of our favourite sites, "Coopers" in Edale, Derbyshire. I know it gets slated on this site for not great facilities and a very odd proprietor, but I love it. Its set in a beautiful location with loads to do. And it has such character. Is anyone else going?

I love Edale, but that miserable get is getting no more of my money. There must be 100 tents there every weekend in summer, and he always behaves like it's an effort to accommodate you.

I use a site close by, (that I'm not willing to divulge), and Fieldhead to a lesser extent.

Edale is one of the most beautiful walking-bases ever - hope you have a wonderful time

Glad you like Edale too. Hope you also have a great bank holiday. Wouldnt mind the name of your other site, if its nearby. Have always assumed the only two sites in Edale were the National Trust one and Coopers. Cheers Freddy.

I love Edale too but I think there are only two sites in the village but the are loads  within a couple of miles.

Edale Country Day 11th June 2006 is always worth a visit for a small contry fair
