Does anyone know any places in Essex that have a large range of tents on display. We have Camping and General and PJ Camping fairly close to us but they miss quite a few out the range. Besides, I am down there all the time so was hoping there was some other ones with more or different tents on display. Particularly interested in those displaying Vango and Outwell.
Camperite at Marks Tey near Colchester have quite a good range on display. I know they have Outwell, not sure about Vango. The staff at Camperite are very helpful and knowledgeable - why not give them a call to ask what's on show before you visit. 01206 210551
Camperite are excellent!! We are just starting out and they have been helping us. We keep picking things up in their shop and they tell us to put it back as we won't need it. It makes a change to find someone who is willing to sell you the right equipment and not just out to make money!!!
Camperite are a few hundreds yards up the road from us, and they do have a reasonable range on show, but no Diablo range, but there are other vangos on display, along with Outwell, Sunncamp and a couple of others.
They seem like nice people and We are planning to buy a tent from them soon!
They don't sell pies, but there is a cake shop nearby!!
