hi all well finally brought this tent excellent i might had one thing has anybody had problems getting there poles apart they seem to twist and they are a sod to get apart or is it me.
Yes they do seem to lock together where they have D shaped joints. I have found a slight rocking motion gets them apart quite easily as long as you support the joint so the weight is not locking it together.
You also have to be carefull when you pull the poles apart. If you pull too hard, the spring inside comes out ( all you see is some black elastic ) and then they are a pain to put together again. If this does happen get a thin fibreglass pole and push them back down and give a tap with a mallet. When mine have locked, I find just tapping the joint with the mallet helps release them.
