I went away this weekend and my tent got wet i just spent all day trying to dry it properly how long would it be before it started to turn mildew. Does anyone have any suggestions on a easy way to dry it as it is to big for my back garden. It's not a canvas tent.
they say you should dry out within 24 hours i understand your problem as we also have a large tent & small garden but we've been lucky so far hav'nt got caught in the rain you could try an hairdryer if you've got lots of patience
The clothes line is a good idea if the weather's fine. Otherwise, have you got a spare bedroom or a dining room where you could just lay it out on the carpet & then keep turning it when each part has dried?
Remember making a tent as a child with a sheet forming a canopy between the sofa and chairs in the lounge? Well that's what I did. Draped one over the 3 piece suite , propped up in a few more places with kitchen chairs, filled the entire lounge with everything spread out, just before going to bed.It worked a treat, a synthetic tent doesn't take very long to dry indoors. Just check it is fully dry in all the folds.
